Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily farm tasks including milking, kid rearing, feeding, and livestock care.

Prepare and manage weekly staff rosters aligned with enterprise goals.

Supervise and support staff in completing their duties within set standards and timelines.

Conduct or coordinate maintenance and minor repairs on farm equipment and facilities.

Implement and monitor rodent control and prompt removal of dead stock.

Ensure animal health and welfare through routine treatments (e.g., vaccinations, de-budding, foot trimming).

Identify and report animal health issues, and recommend corrective actions including culling.

Lead daily team briefings and participate in weekly operations meetings to drive continuous improvement.

Animal Husbandry Duties Include:

Managing treatments for common health issues (e.g. scouring, acidosis).

Ensuring all tasks are completed safely, using well-maintained tools and resources.

Supporting the development and implementation of animal care protocols.

Continuous Improvement:

Facilitate on-site daily meetings to identify and resolve challenges.

Collaborate with other leaders to refine processes and close out incidents or non-conformances.

You Bring:

Proven experience in livestock/dairy operations (goat dairy preferred).

Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.

Ability to work hands-on and lead by example.

Practical repair/maintenance knowledge is a plus.

At least college level or Animal Science graduate is advantage

minimum of 3 to 5yrs relevant experience
