English Teacher

Passionate about teaching and exploring a new culture? We are looking for enthusiastic English Teachers to work in Japanese public and private schools, language centers, or Eikaiwa (conversation schools). Teach English to children, teens, or adults while experiencing the rich traditions and modern wonders of Japan!

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct engaging English lessons

• Support students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills

• Encourage conversation practice and active language use

• Prepare teaching materials and classroom activities

• Collaborate with Japanese teachers (for ALT roles)

• Participate in school events and cultural activities

• Help improve students’ global communication skills

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field (Education or English preferred)

• Excellent command of written and spoken English

• Willingness to relocate to Japan and adapt to a new culture

• Passion for teaching and working with students

• TEFL/TESOL certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain one)

• JLPT N5/N4 preferred but not required

Preferred:

• Teaching experience (formal or informal)

• Experience with children or young learners

• JLPT N4 or higher (for easier adjustment and daily life)
